Finding a blaster that feels substantial without being too heavy for holster carry is tricky. Cheap toy conversions always feel light and brittle in hand. The metallic dry brushing makes it look like real forged steel. It passed convention weapons check with zero hassle. It has survived three busy cons without any chipping. -

I am finishing an authentic scoundrel costume and desperately need an accurate blaster prop. Convention security rules are strict, so it needs to look realistic while remaining an obvious harmless display piece up close. A lot of prop blasters on the market feel like hollow toys that snap if dropped. Who makes heavy duty resin or composite blasters with authentic weathering? Can anyone suggest a studio that gets the weathering and grip details right?
